Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI) encourages young people to remain in education and helps them develop the skills they need to succeed in a changing world. All Junior Achievement programmes are taught by business volunteers recruited from supporting organisations who are fully trained before they commence their programme.
Mr. Alan Clarke from the National Asset Management Agency recently completed The Economics of Staying in School programme with Ms. McGrath’s second year business studies class. The programme explained the economic benefits of an education. The programme ran for 40 minutes weekly for six weeks. Alan informed the students about making future choices about their education, careers, budgets, and other personal economic decisions.
A big thank you to Alan for delivering this course to our students who thoroughly enjoyed the programme.
