The annual Ecology trips to Dublin Zoo took place recently with over 80 Science students from 3rd and 6th Year completing the investigation in the Phoenix Park. During the investigations, under the instruction of two members of the Dublin Zoo Education Department, the students learned how to use a variety of equipment to safely catch and release small animals and insects as well as studying the different plant species that grew within the park. Each student then completed their findings into a booklet, with many students using their friends as a solid surface to help them to write in their results.
