Ms. Ward tells us about the recent school tour to Barcelona…..
“A group of 34 students and 4 teachers flew off to Barcelona at the beginning of October for a fantastic fun filled and educational trip. We visited the city of Barcelona taking in La Sagrada Familia church, The Gothic Quarter and Cathedral, Passeig de Gràcia and Casa Mila. That afternoon we visited the famous “Camp Nou” Stadium, home to the Barcelona football team.
The following day, we took off to Port Aventura for some thrilling rides and rollercoaters. The students had an amazing day and after dinner we went bowling for the evening.
The next day we visited Montserrat, a spectacularly beautiful Benedictine monk mountain retreat. Afterwards we went to Cosmo Caixa Science Museum, which was a fascinating interactive experience for the students. We went to a magic and musical show in Salou that evening where the students had a great night.
On our last day, we went to the Barcelona Aquarium at the port and then strolled around the city taking in the sights and the shops before heading home that evening.
It was an amazing trip with a wonderful well behaved group of students. We created amazing memories together!”
