Well done to our students who have been involved in helping to conserve the Roseate Terns and other nesting seabirds on Rockabill.
You can see some of the pictures of our students’ nest boxes in-situ, being used by the Roseates, which already have nests in them after only being deployed for a few days. Our students can see how quickly their hard work has paid off for the terns.
A special thank you was sent from the 4 wardens: David Miley, Shane Somers, Caroline McKeon and Steve Newton as well as Birdwatch Ireland to our students. They did an eggcellent job on the boxes and our donations are greatly appreciated by the birds!
