Balbriggan Community College is again amongst the elite schools in the Fingal area after finding itself in the recent Irish Independent 2015 Feeder Schools table as one of the top schools in North County Dublin for providing a platform for its students to attend 3rd level institutes. An impressive 85% of students from last year’s class have moved on to 3rd level education. This places Balbriggan Community College in 5th position in Fingal, only behind Malahide, Portmarnock, Skerries and 2% behind Loreto Balbriggan in providing a strong platform for students to further their education after attending the school. Following on from Balbriggan Community College’s achievement last year as being listed as the top feeder school in North County Dublin for third level, and the fifth highest nationally, with 86% of its Leaving Cert students from 2014 progressing to third level education, 2015 has proved to be another great year academically.
