There was great fun today at our annual Sports Day. Events included the shot putt, 600m and 100m sprints, obstacle course, poc fada, soccer penalties, tug of war and table tennis. The most anticipated event was the staff versus students’ football game which finished off an enjoyable sunny day. Better luck next year to the students! The final score was 2-0 to the teachers.
All parents were invited to attend for a tour of our new gym. Mr. Mooney gave parents a tour around our great facilities and showcased architectural plans for our new school building. Our Board of Management member Cllr. Grainne Maguire was also in attendance.
