Transition Years completed a self defence course on Monday. They learned about self awareness, self defence and life protection. It was a great day and hopefully they learnt useful skills. Second year Business students visited Caffrey’s Chocolate Factory today. The two hour tour which included a 25 minute film, explained in detail the story of chocolate and how cocoa beans are grown and harvested. The film showed the journey of cocoa beans from the Aztecs to the factory and the process cocoa beans go through to get the chocolate that we recognize today.
