This year (2021/2022) we began an Amber Flag Committee in Balbriggan CC, in association with Pieta House. It is being run by volunteer students from Transition Year. The purpose of the committee is to promote mental health awareness, tools and resources, and work towards eradicating the stigmas associated with mental health issues within our school community. Balbriggan Community College has been awarded a grant from Erasmus + to support the mobility of 10 students in partnership with a German school and 20 students for a Spanish school. The U16 Boys Basketball teams finished up their group stages of the league last week. We had two teams entered into the league as we had 40 students turning up to training each week, great dedication!
