  Balbriggan Community College followed up its hugely popular ‘Proclamation Day’ with a full day of historical enactments and historical themed fancy dress to mark the centenary of the 1916 Rising on Friday 29th of April. ong with their Home Economics teachers Miss Broderick and Miss Duffy recently attended Butlers Chocolate Factory.    Here they enjoyed a variety of chocolates, watched a movie on the history of chocolate, tour of the factory, explored the museum and decorated their own chocolate piece. Students described their experience as inspiring, fun and educational. It was a wonderful experience for all involved.
