We had a talk on the Work of the Gardai from 6 local Garda to our Transition years. They learned about the training to be a Garda, the types of specialisms in the forces and the typical day in the life of a Garda. They learned about the Drug unit, road safety unit, Juvenile Liaison Officer and the reserve Garda work among others. Our students really enjoyed the talk and asked lots of questions at the end.
