Students at junior cycle were involved in maths in the classroom . The students were encouraged to see maths outside the maths classroom and in other subjects. Once students participated in 6 activities they could enter in a class prize draw. Also maths teachers ran competitions with their classes to encourage out of the box thinking in relation to numeracy.
