Balbriggan CC Under 17 Leinster Football Champions

Balbriggan Community College’s football Under 17 team, led by manger Daryl Mooney, beat Colaiaste Killian, Bray, 2-1, to become Leinster Champions this week. The Easter Awards took place on Wednesday 5th April . Certificates and Easter eggs were presented to students from each class in 1st , 2nd and 3rd Year.  Well done to all the winners! Keep up the great work.

Mental Health Week Yoga

As part of mental health week all 6th years participated in a yoga class. It included stretching, flexibilty/strength exercises and relaxation techniques. Everyone enjoyed themselves and some found a new talent! Hopefully learning these relaxation techniques will help with all the study and exams coming up.

As part of Mental Health Week, Miss Purcell’s Home Economics classes were busy making healthy green smoothies and fruit skewers. Each student discovered  the health benefits to  both their physical and mental health by including the various types of fruit in their diet. !
